Grit Gravel & Roll is not a race. However, you are welcome to challenge yourself or with a group. Everyone will get a medal! π

Absolutely! Grit Gravel & Roll is a family-oriented gravel event weekend. We have reservations for families of 3, 4, and 5. Yes, you can bring the dog too!

WHAT IS SELF-SUPPORTED
Grit Gravel & Roll Fondos are all self-supported. That means no SAG stops, no re-supply station, etc.
We highly recommend all riders carry everything theyβll need to successfully complete the route.
Make sure to carry enough fluids and stay hydrated, bring enough nutrition, first-aid-kid, and bike repair KIT.
DO NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY.Β See you at dinner!

SUGGESTED BIKES & TIRES
Gravel bikes, MTB bikes, e-bikes are all welcome.
We highly recommend 38mm or larger tires.
Helmets are required for all riders participating.
E-BIKES ALLOWED?
Absolutely!

This is gravel. We aren’t afraid of getting wet. The event takes place rain or shine!

VILLAGE LOCATION
Driving:
Driving to the village is rather simple. Use your favorite mapping software and use this address:
450 SE Co Rd 337, Bronson, FL 32621.

Both should drop you right to the front gate.
Flying:
If you are flying, we highly recommend flying to Tampa (TPA) which is only 1h. 45mins away from the village.
We also recommend flying to Orlando (MCO) or Jacksonville (JAX). Both are in the 2h. 30min range from the village.

VILLAGE POOL
Bring the kids!
Single rider or family registration holders have access to the pool and pavilion areas for the entire weekend!
The Main Pavilion is the centerpiece of Grit Gravel & Roll riders and family members.
TheΒ beach entrance four-foot deep swimming pool, hot tub, pool house with showers, and bathrooms are available to all riders.
Wifi is available within the Main Pavilion and throughout most of the campus.
WARNING:Β No lifeguard on duty.
VILLAGE FOOD TRUCK
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day will be available on-site at the outdoor Galloping Gourmet cafe featuring a Southern Fusion of classic southern roots with an international influence.
The BBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese Sandwich is a delicious highlight after a long day in the saddle!
Soft drinks and adult beverages will also be available starting Friday.
DOG PARK
Grit Gravel & Roll is a family-oriented gravel event weekend. We love dogs. Make sure to bring your little one.
SOME BASIC GUIDELINES:
Dogs must be on a minimum 6-foot leash at all times while roaming around the facility. However, they can run free at the dog park.
Donβt forget to pick up after your little one. Itβs the right thing to do!

Grit Gravel & Roll Policies
COVID-19
Due to the concerns over the Covid-19 virus and sizes of gatherings, the following proposal is how we are dealing with holding a cycling event.
Firstly, we will follow all recommended rules set forth by the CDC in terms of social gatherings and events.
We will also follow all local, State, and National laws concerning social distancing and events.
REGISTRATION CHANGES
Made a mistake during registration? You are welcome to change your registration using BikeReg platform.

Changes may be made to your registration by logging in to your BikeReg account. Changes and transfers must be completed two weeks before the event. Changes may include:

Moving to a different race distance

Transfer your registration to a lucky friend or family member

REGISTRATION TRANSFERS
You can transfer your registration to a friend or family member. You can do that using BikeReg platform.Β Follow this LINK to learn how to do it.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- If my event is closed can participants still transfer?
No, if your event is closed participants can no longer transfer their category.
- If a category is full will participants still be able to transfer into it?
No, a filled category will not take any more participants, including transfers.
There areΒ NO TRANSFERSΒ allowed withinΒ 7 daysΒ of the event.
REFUNDS
Grit Gravel & Roll has a no-refund policy. You can transfer your registration to a lucky friend or family member.
RIDER ETHICS & EVENT RULES
- Wear a helmet. No rider will be allowed without a helmet. This is required.
- Obey all traffic laws.
- No reckless riding or activity that could endanger other riders.Β
- No insulting, bullying or unsportsmanlike conduct between club members, other riders, pedestrians, or motor vehicle operators.
- Do not taunt anyone in a motor vehicle. If they retaliate, you and the riders with you will lose.
- Do not litter while riding.
- Respect otherβs property.
- Use good judgment and common sense.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
- Prohibited Items include: Illegal drugs / drug paraphernalia; Weapons, including firearms, bats, kitchen knives OR anything that can be considered a weapon; Explosives, incendiary devices, or other legally prohibited items; Fireworks of any kind or size, excluding sparklers, without prior written approval; Beer kegs / Hard Liquor / Unreasonable amounts of alcohol
- Grit Gravel & Roll reserves the right to prohibit any additional items, at our discretion.
WAIVER
All Grit Gravel & Roll participants and any family staying on the property will need to sign the BP liability waiver:
